Napoleon reveals his secret weapon to Josephine
This really may have happened. Nobody apparently recorded this in history books, but for now, let us imagine that this may really have happened.
It’s no secret that Napoleon Bonaparte was eager to conquer the world. His war strategies were perfect. According to legend, his strength lay in his ability to convey his strategy in a simple way that wouldn’t be wrongly perceived by any of his soldiers.
Flashback to the typical early morning routine of Napoleon. It’s time for another battle, and thousands of Napoleon’s soldiers stand arranged in tactical formation.
Napoleon emerges from his tent and walks across to a solitary person who looks like a tramp with a faint resemblance to the world’s most famous tramp character Charlie Chaplin. So for the sake of convenience, let’s call him Charlie. Charlie keeps on disagreeing with what Napoleon whispers into his ears until finally, he shakes his head in agreement with Napoleon.
Napoleon then strides toward the soldiers and delivers a crisp and rousing discourse. The soldiers attack as per the orders. They conquer new lands.
Napoleon’s wife Josephine, intrigued by this Charlie interface, once asked him why he always whispered into Charlie’s ears before talking to the army.

Napoleon, just back from another war exhausted, was tempted to say – “Not tonight, Josephine”. Still, he decides to answer Josephine.
Napoleon then made Josephine sign a non-disclosure agreement before revealing his biggest secret.
Napoleon wanted to make sure that what he said was precisely what was understood by his soldiers. So he selected the dumbest-looking tramp in his country and patiently explained his message until clearly understood. The message had to be rephrased and reworded until it became so lucid that even a disinterested tramp like Charlie could understand.
Needless to say, Josephine was heavily impressed, and eventually let Napoleon slip into a deep state of sleep while somewhere in an abandoned building nearby, Charlie wondered why he ended up nodding his head every day even when he didn’t understand a thing that was told to him by that guy who came out of the tent.
