Who Really Owns the Park?
One thing I’ve noticed during our American sojourn:
The wild squirrels and rabbits in the public gardens seem remarkably unafraid of people.
They simply carry on with their lives, right among us.

And then we spotted something I hadn’t expected — a wild rabbit with its baby, living right there in the garden.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a baby rabbit so close before.
They seemed completely at home.

The squirrels seemed equally comfortable.
Then I came across this cartoon.

A dog watches the squirrels and says:
“It’s the sense of self-entitlement I detest most.” 😄
That made me laugh.
Perhaps these squirrels aren’t fearless.
They’ve simply decided the park belongs to them.
And we humans?
Perhaps we’re just the visitors. 😄
