A Question That Goes a Long Way

We were sitting at a traffic light when I noticed a message on a billboard above the road.
“Are you okay?”
At first, I smiled.
Because sometimes, when someone does something irritating, those words mean quite the opposite. 😄

But this time, the question was meant differently:
“ARE YOU OKAY?” GOES A LONG WAY.
It made me think about how a simple question can sometimes mean so much.
A call.
A message.
A few seconds of genuine attention.
We never really know what someone else may be carrying.

So perhaps we could ask a little more often.
“Are you okay?”
And this time, actually mean it.

It takes only a few seconds.
But it could go a long way. 😊
